This is as close to a Chipotle as small towns will get. You can choose your burrito fillings/nacho toppings and load it down with spice if you'd like, or you can choose completely vegan ingredients. It kind of gets a bad rap from the locals, but more because this is an area where excellent Mexican food is expected.
One word of caution though: the portion sizes are rather large, so it may be worth your while to have younger children split orders. -

Absolutely no Flavor in their menu items. Restaurant was dirty. Staff was friendly. Food was terrible. They were scraping the last bit of received beans from a plastic bag for my burrito. The salad option was just chopped ice burg that was mediocre at best. Flys on the station that had the pico, guacamole and salsa.

I can say I gave it a try, the best thing about this place is it is attached to a gas station. That way after you get and try your food you can go get a hot dog that has been sitting there all day on the rollers and it still tastes better and is more moist. This place is lacking flavor chicken fajitas and pork is stringing and dry. The taco meat is just hamburger, and the "salsas" which Im pretty sure are made from canned tomatoes have this aftertaste. They have a physically hot (yup warm pastie salsa) one that they say is spicy in my opinion um No! You will defiantly need a drink to get down the dry bland meat. Im not a hugh fan of taco bell but taco bell is amazing compared to this place.

It is probably the closest thing to chipotle in Dalhart. I was a bit concerned when I saw it was connected to the gas station, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the chicken burrito, you can get them regular or double meat. I would probably stick to the chicken, the green chile and the beans were also very good. You can also get a salad or nachos with toppings on top. Good value overall.

It seemed like a slow Sunday when I walked in. I tried their tostada bowl. The slow cooked brisket had a nice smoked flavor to it. They were out of cilantro of all things. My order was taken care of promptly but the people seem listless. The liquid cheese seemed pretty thin. Not much flavor from the cheese. Good thing I asked for only a little bit.
If this were back home I wouldn't stop here too often. Certainly nothing to rave about but not bad.
